We are beyond excited to announce Mozhdeh Ghasemiyani as a speaker for TEDxAarhus 2017!
Mozhdeh Ghasemiyani is an experienced psychologist with specialist expertise in trauma, refugees and crises.
She has worked in both government, local government and NGO’s in Denmark, the UK and the US to improve the treatment of refugees, especially children.
She was born in Iran and her family came to Denmark in 1995 under the UNHCR’s quota system.
For people living safely and comfortably in Denmark into the wild is usually perceived as seeking an adventure to get an experience out of the ordinary for the sake of thrill and excitement.
For refugees it is the other way around. In her talk, Mozdeh will give examples of what each and every one of us can do with regard to the most traumatized refugees – showing that it’s actually quite simple.
We are looking forward to watching Mozdeh’s talk on September 30th and hope you are too!
Remember that the ticket application is open until August 6th– you can apply here!
