TEDx Walks – Free event on August 31

13 talks x 13 locations x 5 minutes

TEDxAarhus jumps off the stage and into the streets of Aarhus for a series of mini (5min!) live TEDx talks popping up in unusual spaces and much-loved places across the city in a FREE event on August 31, ahead of TEDxAarhus 2019: [re]* on October 5.

Between 11:00-15:00, you’re invited to join us for a little taste of TEDxAarhus on a walking exploration of ideas and our city. We’ve gathered 13 diverse and exciting speakers who will share their ideas, stories and learnings in short 5-minute talks across a range of topics including lifechanging travel, coffee and wine, cultivating conversations, the terrible advice of “being yourself”, climate activism, crossing-cultures through food… and a little bit of magic.

TEDx Walks features talks from Frederik Svinth, Theodor Klostergaard, Ulrik Myrtue, Santhi Maniam, Wendy Garnier, Anna Aulin-Christoffersen, Sabina Drachmann Sunne, Juanjo Keena, Martabolette Stecher, Katie Gill, Ben Culpin, La Cabra Coffee, and Sebastian Scott Engen.

❌ Meeting point:
11:00 at Ingerslevs Blvd. Market at Torvet Ingerslev (https://goo.gl/maps/mFe21yq9vTjoQNPC8) – look for the TEDxAarhus flag! From here we will walk across the city, stopping in 12 other indoor and outdoor locations to listen to the talks. We’ll finish at a spot in downtown Aarhus C for drinks.

❌ If you can’t make it for the start of the day, you’re still welcome to join us at any point, we’ll post our locations on Instagram (@tedxaarhus) and the Facebook event – so you can come find us!

❌ This event will take place come rain or shine, so wear comfy shoes, bring a bottle of water and dress for the weather (will we need sunglasses or raincoat – who knows?).
